consignments of arms:

(a) In the case of consignments from countries

whence arms may be exported only under Government licence,

a copy of such a licence, indicating that the destination

of the arms in question is China, is required as proof

of "in transit" status.

(b) Where arms export is not under licence,

proof is required in the form of a copy either of a

contract between some person or persons in China and

some person or persons in the exporting country; or

alternatively of a through Bill of Lading to a

destination in China.
